Micro-Epsilon's scanCONTROL series laser scanners are among the highest quality profile sensors in the world in terms of accuracy and sampling rate. There are different models capable of providing solutions to most industrial applications thanks to (scanCONTROL SMART) its intelligence integrated into the sensor itself. Scanners are very helpful in measurements such as profiles, gap, height, width, length, depth, edges, slots, angles, roundness, presence, uniformity, deformation….

  • Profinet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT (with scanCONTROL gateway)
Available with red laser diode or patented blue laser diode.
Blue laser line laser scanners are preferably used for profile measurements on red-hot, incandescent metals as well as transparent and organic surfaces. Although it allows for significantly greater stability, the blue laser beam does not penetrate the measurement object.
