The In-Sight 8000 series smart cameras are ultracompact, offering industry-leading vision tool performance at PC speeds, all in the form factor of a traditional GigE Vision camera. With power over Ethernet (POE), they offer VGA, 1MP, 2MP and 5MP resolutions with color options available. Supporting Gigabyte Ethernet for high speed communications.

Ideal for small spaces.

Measuring just 35mm x 32mm x76mm, all In-Sight 8000 series models can be mounted at angles of up to 45-degrees, they are ideal for integrating into tight spaces on robots and hard-to-reach machinery anywhere on the production line.

PatMax RedLine, innovation in pattern matching.

PatMax RedLine runs between 4 and 7 times faster than PatMax, without reducing accuracy or robustness in searching. Together with PatMax RedLine, the In-Sight 8000 series camera can reduce cycle times and increase performance without reducing the accuracy of the inspection.

Powerful and easy to use vision tools

Most of the models are equipped with a full library of proven Cognex vision tools through the In-Sight Explorer software, which is very easy to use. These include: pattern matching (PatMax Redline, PatMax and PatFind), filtering (grayscale and color), color tools (color identification, true color extraction, color histogram), inspection defects (surface flaw, Flex Flaw, Inspect Edge) and identification (1D/2D, OCR).
